bodyy has announced his fnatic contract has been terminated by mutual agreement and that he is now a free agent.
The 28-year-old joined fnatic in November 2023 and notably attended the Perfect World Shanghai Major, where he returned to the Valve-sponsored event after five years.
fnatic peaked at No. 21 in the world rankings under bodyy’s leadership, but lackluster form at the end of the year, bar their Shanghai RMR performance, meant the Frenchman was removed in favor of Rodion “fear” Smyk at the start of the year.
“A special thanks to the management for their support in reaching a mutual agreement to part ways, which puts me in a much better position to find my next home,” bodyy wrote in his X statement.
“I’m still as hungry as ever and looking for a new team, either as a player or an IGL, if our visions align on what a team should be.”
Today marks the end of my journey with @FNATIC. I want to thank the players and staff for the experiences we shared and the work we put in together. It wasn’t the easiest period for any of us, but I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned along the way.
